FAQ
Is the date of AGM 2008 on the 20th - 24th March final?
Yes, everything is booked and ready for the AGM in Besançon.
How many section members can register?
One delegate per section, the other participants will be on the waitinglist (with at least 90 free places).
Why is this registration system in place?
The AGM in Prague 2007 decided to hold the next AGM in Besancon. The OC of Besancon always made clear that there are less places than usually and they even increased the places!
Furthermore, ESN has been constantly growing and it is not feasible that every section can send two people to the AGM due to capacity of hotels.
Who decided on this system?
The OC of Besancon proposed one delegate per section to the International Board who accepted this decision.
The CNR together with the International Board then decided to implement this system that every country will proportionally receive the same amount of places from the waiting-list.
Can I subscribe as a delegate for a section that doesn't send a delegate?
Yes, you can. All you need is a written confirmation signed by the president of the other section. Send this document to Andim, our Network Administrator, on na@esn.org and the Vice-President, Matthias, vicepresident@esn.org or per post to ESN International, Rue Hydraulique 15, 1210 Brussels.
Don't forget, no letter, no AGM!!!
Still, subscribe to ESN Identity with your original section because this account stays with you during your whole ESN life.
Can I come to Besancon without registration?
Sure, you're always welcome to visit this beautiful city in Franche-Comté, but you will not be permitted entering the AGM venues.
