Let us explain you how we decided to choose Guillaume Aldebert as the cultural ambassador of the Erasmus Student Network AGM 2008.

Choosing Guillaume Aldebert was something that came both from our mind and from our heart.

From our mind, because it is the mind of an adulescent, of an adult who still keeps something of an adolescent. It is the mind of persons somewhere between 19 and 59 years old, who bet on bringing together cultures and peoples and, implicitly, just like Aldebert does, on bringing together different styles. Never really taking up the easy way - la Méthode couette -, never really thinking about an end whatsoever - Vivement la fin -, still never having our head too up in the clouds - Tête en l'air -, always thinking about Besançon - Besac - , we are very eager to feel a unique Carpe diem.

From our heart, because it is a heart that shares with Guillaume Aldebert the taste of happiness - l'Appétit du Bonheur -, the happiness of simply enjoying life, without questioning it, defying it, without ever learning what is the right way out - Où est la chicane -, even if this can sometimes give us the feeling that we are living a long hangover - Des gueules de bois - ...

It's just a crazy adventure, which could turn 2008 into the monkey year - l'année du singe -, an adventure which will leave an indelibil - indélébile - mark on the ambassadors of the 34 countries, special moments like coloured soap bubbles - bulles de savon - that they will fully live and that they will not allow to vanish, but keep as precious memories.
