Le comité d'organisation de l'AGM 2008 a le regret de vous informer du décès du Président de la Région Franche-Comté Raymond Forni. Il s�est éteint dans la nuit du vendredi 04 au samedi 05 janvier 2008, des suites d�une leucémie foudroyante à l�hopital Saint-Louis, à Paris. � Enfant de la République �, ancien Président de l�Assemblée Nationale, il n�a eu de cesse jusqu�à son dernier souffle de penser à la Région Franche-Comté dont il est le Président depuis 2004, au Territoire de Belfort et à sa ville de Delle. Nous saluons la mémoire d'un homme engagé, européen convaincu.

The AGM 2008 organizing committee is very sorry to announce the death of Raymond Forni, President of the Region Franche-Comt�, on January 5th 2008. Raymond Forni was a former President of the Assembl�e Nationale (French House of Representatives) Député, and President of our Region since 2004. The OC would like to salute the memory of a man very committed to his Region, a man who believed in a united Europe.

The registered ESN members are validated by the OC/ESN (NR, IB, Alumni, CD, Guest) and from this moment on, the validated participants will have two weeks for paying the AGM fee. And the moment on which you register matters for the amount you pay, that means that every person who REGISTERED before January 15th 2008 pays 110� and every person who registered after this date pays 150� (this concerns the waitinglist and the official list and is totally independent from the day on which you pay).

Les membres d'ESN enregistrés sur le site web de l'AGM 2008 sont validés par le CO de l'AGM conformément aux instructions, à partir de ce moment ces personnes ont deux semaines pour payer le prix de participation à l'AGM 2008. Seule la date à laquelle le participant est enregistré détermine le montant � payer: toute personne ENREGISTREE avant le 15 janvier 2008 paye 110� et toute personne enregistrée après cette date paye 150� (cela concerne la liste d'attente et la liste officielle, et est tout à fait indépendant du moment de paiement).

The AGM 2008 registration process is now open on www.agm2008.eu. Please read carefully the information about the registration process. Before starting registration you must register on ESN identity. And don't forget that Alumni and section participants have to wait for in/vaildation of ESN International by February 10th.

The AGM 2008 registration process is postponed to December 5th due to the CNR Meeting in Sarajevo (28th november - december 3rd) where last details about the participants' selection will be decided. We are sorry about this delay. All is being done to make everything clear for sections and national boards to send their delegates.

Tutorial projects for AGM 2008

The Organising Committee is glad to announce that 6 student groups are now working on AGM 2008. AGM 2008 is a "tutorial project" for around 35 students from the IUT (University Technological Institute), three groups are working on the corporate identity of the event, one group is working on the organization and more precisely the Infomarket, one group is working on press relations and one group is working on the AGM journal and audiovisual means. 35 étudiants de l'IUT (Institut Universitaire de Technologie) contribuent à l'organisation de l'AGM2008 dans le cadre de projets tutorés. Ainsi trois groupes travaillent sur l'identité graphique de l'événement, un groupe travaille sur l'organisation, plus précisément sur l'Infomarket, un groupe sur les relations presse et le dernier groupe travaille sur le journal de l'AGM. Vous en saurez plus dans quelques semaines...

The Organizing Committee is happy to announce that 20 more places will be given out for AGM participants. In Prague, Julien & Joachim ensured 450 places, so there are now 470 places available. The repartition process will be decided both by the IB and the CNR. Learn more before December 1st.

To get a little taste of what is waiting for you, I visited Besançon for a few days. I'd say a lovely small city will warmly welcome you.
The OC is full of energy and as basically the whole city very much looking forward to receiving you here. Be prepared for hard work, but as you know also for some professional parties :-)

Pour avoir un avant goût de ce qui nous attend, je me suis rendu à Besançon durant quelques jours. Je dirais que c'est une charmante petite ville qui vous accueillera ! Le comité d'organisation est plein d'énergie, et toute la ville est impatiente de vous recevoir ici à Besançon. Soyez préparés à beaucoup travailler, mais après l'effort vient le réconfort: les soirées ESN! Vous apprécierez votre séjour à Besançon, en attendant je vous souhaite du bon temps!
